Mr Gatty’s Tearoom Achieves Gold in Lancashire County Council’s Recipe 4 Health Award

Mr Gatty’s Tearoom, the community-focused café operated by Community Solutions North West, is proud to announce it has achieved Gold status in the Lancashire County Council Recipe 4 Health Award scheme, an outstanding accomplishment that reflects the highest standards in food safety, healthier choices and responsible practice.

The Recipe 4 Health Award, delivered in partnership with Lancashire Trading Standards, recognises food businesses that champion healthier eating, environmental responsibility and strong social values. Gold status represents excellence across compliance with food safety and food standards legislation, licensing and age-restricted sales laws, alongside a commitment to allergen awareness, healthier menu options and reducing environmental impact.

Mr Gatty’s Tearoom is part of Community Solutions North West’s “Cup of Community” initiative, based at Elmfield Hall. As a not-for-profit social enterprise café, every penny of profit generated by Mr Gatty’s directly supports the charitable work of Community Solutions North West, helping to tackle loneliness, isolation and poor mental health across the local community.
